   Relocating the toilet across the room created a more private experience and improved the overall flow of the bathroom, replacing the previous layout where it was the first thing you saw upon entering.

The Story

Sometimes the biggest design challenges are hiding in plain sight. That was certainly true in this primary bathroom.

Decorative soffits visually compressed the room and, most noticeably, reduced the shower height so dramatically that the homeowner, standing over six feet tall, couldn’t stand upright while showering. A cramped single-sink vanity offered limited storage, while the toilet occupied the most prominent position in the room, leaving the space feeling awkward and confined.

By removing unnecessary architectural elements and thoughtfully reimagining the layout, we were able to unlock the bathroom’s full potential. Raising the shower ceiling, relocating the plumbing fixtures, and introducing custom cabinetry created a space
that feels brighter, more spacious, and tailored to the homeowners’ daily lives.

The finished bathroom balances timeless design with modern comfort. Every decision from the handcrafted vanity to the heated floors and carefully selected mosaic tile was made with both beauty and function in mind. The result is an elegant retreat that honors the classic character of the home while providing a space that will serve this couple comfortably for years to come.
